Day Training

With so much on your plate, it can be difficult to find consistent time for training, socialization, and teaching the everyday life skills that help your dog succeed.

Day Training is available once we've had the opportunity to work together and build a relationship with your dog. By this stage, your dog knows me, enjoys our time together, and we've begun building a foundation of trust and understanding. That relationship allows me to step in and work confidently with your dog while keeping you involved every step of the way.

This is where Day Training shines.

I come to your home and work with your dog one-on-one, building skills, confidence, impulse control, and focus. This takes the pressure off you while your dog benefits from consistent, focused training.

Depending on your goals, I may take your dog on local field trips to help generalize what they're learning. This could be around your neighborhood or out in the wider world, practicing skills in real-life situations. With regular training sessions, your dog can continue making steady progress while you manage the demands of everyday life.

I'll keep you updated with photos, videos, and coaching sessions so you always know what we're working on and feel confident carrying those skills into everyday life. Lasting success comes from supporting both dogs and their people.

Once you've purchased your package, please fill out the Release Form below and email a signed copy to [email protected]. Then, we'll schedule our Day Training sessions to fit our schedules.  It's that simple.

Get to Know Penny Locke

Thanks to a dog, I am now a trainer. Learning everything I can about what makes a dog tick, respond, act, and react makes me a better and intentional trainer. I strive for the results you dream of, one dog at a time, one day at a time. I am on the dog's side and am bold enough to tell you when things could be better. I have two dogs: Misha, a one-year-old Borzoi, and Hope, a 4-year-old Black Labrador, who came to me as a career change year-old puppy from Guide Dogs. Let's change the course of your dog's life, soon!

Penny is very skillful and kind. She’s great not just with dogs but with people too. Our pup is nervous around people but immediately warmed up to her. She helped us prepare for our rescue dog even before she arrived, really set us up for success with so many knowledgeable tips.—Dylan Q.
